Welcome to the largest historical landscape garden in Austria!
The castle gardens are opened all year round from sunrise to sunset every day! During the season from May 1st till November 1st 2020 the boat hire, the traditional ferry to the Franzensburg and a fascinating and varied event calendar are available to you.
Laxenburg castle gardens are among the most significant historical landscape gardens in Europe and are thus an important horticultural monument of the 18th and 19th centuries. Today, as a local recreation area the castle gardens offer unforgettable and, above all, relaxing hours for the whole family, whatever the season.
